Can any handyman install my gas stove in NYC?
No. Gas piping work in New York City has to be performed by or under the supervision of a Licensed Master Plumber. I&I Plumbing is led by LMP #1927.
I smell gas — what should I do?
Leave the area right away, don't use switches or flames, and call 911 or your gas utility (Con Edison or National Grid) from outside. Once the utility makes it safe, we can repair the piping.
