5. Text Messages (SMS)

We text customers only when they've agreed to it or have contacted us first:

• Service texts — if you tick the text-message box when you book online, request a call back, or start a chat on our website, or tell our office by phone or in person that you'd like texts, we text you about your service requests and appointments: confirmations, reminders, arrival updates, quotes, invoices and payment links, follow-ups after a job, and replies to your messages.
• Promotional texts — only if you also tick the separate, optional box for promotional texts (or ask our office for them), we may send occasional offers and maintenance reminders.
• Replies when you contact us — if you text our number, we reply. If you call and we miss your call, we may send one text to follow up on that call.
• Sign-in codes — if you ask for a code to sign in to your customer account with your mobile number, we text you that code.

Agreeing to texts is optional and is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out; we'll send one message confirming you're unsubscribed and won't text you again unless you reply START. Reply HELP for help, or call us at 1 (800) 918-0148.

We keep a record of your mobile number, the consent wording you agreed to and when, and the texts we exchange, so we can honor your choices.

I&I Plumbing does not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as the provider that delivers our text messages, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to improve your browsing experience and analyze site traffic. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site (for example, which pages lead to bookings). When you arrive from one of our ads or marketing links, your browser remembers which link it was (for up to 60 days, in your browser's local storage), along with any ad click ID the ad platform added to the link. If you then request service or tap our phone number, that information is sent with it so we can tell which advertising works. We count clicks on our links without storing your IP address.
